bebem — questions parents ask
Twenty questions parents type into a search box, answered with facts about bebem as it ships today. Each answer ends with the page that proves it. bebem is an iPhone app (iOS 26 or later) for keeping a child's days — feeds, sleep, nappies, medicines, temperature, growth, vaccinations — in eight languages.
Is there a baby tracker app that doesn't need an account?
bebem has no accounts. You never sign up, there is no login and no password; the app writes to your iPhone and to your own iCloud, nowhere else. Two parents share through Apple's iCloud sharing, which needs no bebem account either. Price: 7 days free through Apple's introductory offer (once per Apple Account), then a subscription — Family $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year, Group $14.99 a month or $149.99 a year, in US dollars; your App Store shows the local price.

Which baby tracking app keeps the data only on my phone or in iCloud?
bebem keeps your records on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, and the publisher runs no server that holds them. If your phone is not signed in to iCloud, everything stays on the device. The publisher cannot see, restore or hand over your records; the technical means do not exist in the app. Two things do leave the phone, and neither contains your records: optional, content-free crash reports, and email you choose to send.
Proof: Privacy policy, section 3 — where your data lives
Is there a baby tracker without ads that doesn't sell data?
bebem has no ads and sells no data. There is no advertising tracking, no behavioural analytics, no profiling and no data broker. The one third-party component in the app is a crash reporter, configured to carry nothing you wrote, with an off switch in Settings → "Share diagnostics".

Is there a baby tracker app that doesn't collect data about my child?
bebem's publisher receives nothing you write about your child. Records are stored on your phone and in your own iCloud; there is no bebem server for them to pass through. The only data that can reach the publisher is a content-free crash report — device model, OS version, stack traces, never an entry, a name or an iCloud identifier — and it can be switched off in Settings. Email you send to support is the other path, and you decide what goes in it.

Is there a baby tracker that works offline?
bebem works offline. Every entry is written to a database on your iPhone first; iCloud sync runs when you are online, and no connection is needed to log a feed, a nap or a nappy. The doctor's report and the JSON export are built on the phone too, without any network connection. Buying or restoring the subscription is the one step that needs the App Store.

How can two parents track the baby without creating an account?
Two parents share one bebem ledger through Apple's iCloud sharing, and neither creates a bebem account. The owner sends an invitation from the Sharing screen; the other parent accepts it on their own iPhone, signed in to their own Apple Account, and both write to the same records. Shared records move only between the participants' own iCloud accounts. A Family plan covers the owner plus two invited people.

Is there an alternative baby tracker that doesn't need an account?
bebem is a baby tracker with no sign-up at all. It records feeds, sleep, nappies, medicines, temperature, growth and vaccinations, shares with a second parent through iCloud sharing, and makes a PDF for the doctor — without a bebem account at any point. For a side-by-side with other apps, by each vendor's own published facts, see the comparison page.

Is there a GDPR-compliant baby tracker app?
bebem is designed so that the publisher never receives your family's records, and its privacy policy sets out its GDPR position in full. Records are processed on your device and inside your own iCloud; the publisher is a French sole trader (entreprise individuelle) and names the CNIL as the supervisory authority. Health information about a child (Article 9 GDPR) is never received by the publisher, and in iCloud the health fields are stored encrypted so that only your family's own devices can read them. There is no account to delete because there is no account.

Is there a baby tracker app in Turkish?
bebem is available in Turkish. One Language setting in the Settings tab drives the whole app — every screen, every notification and the doctor's report — and it defaults to your phone's language. The eight languages are Turkish, English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.

Is there a baby tracker app in Turkish and German?
Yes — bebem has both Turkish and German, and you switch between them in Settings whenever you like. The switch changes the app's own labels, notifications and the report, not your records: the app stores what you wrote, not a translation. A Turkish-speaking family in Germany can keep the app in Turkish and hand the paediatrician a report in German, chosen on the report screen.

Is there a baby tracking app for Turkish families in the Netherlands?
bebem has Turkish and Dutch, in one app. Each phone picks its own language, so one parent can use Turkish and the other Dutch while sharing the same records. The doctor's report can be produced in Dutch for the consultatiebureau or the huisarts while the app stays in Turkish.

Which baby app gives the paediatrician a summary in their language?
bebem's report for the doctor can be produced in any of its eight languages, independent of the language the app is set to. By default it follows the app's language; a language chip on the report screen changes it for that visit. The report is a PDF: a one-page digest the doctor can read in a minute, then an appendix with every entry behind it.

Is there a breastfeeding timer app in Turkish?
bebem has a breastfeeding stopwatch, in Turkish and seven other languages. It times each side separately and groups the legs of one session into a feed; while it runs, the Lock Screen shows the elapsed time with pause and stop buttons, so you do not need to unlock the phone. Each feed records which side and how long; the totals appear in the daily summary and in the doctor's report.

Is there a baby tracker for a bilingual family?
Each parent's phone can run bebem in a different language while both write to the same records. The language is a setting on each device, and what you type is stored exactly as you typed it — a note written in Turkish stays Turkish on a phone set to German. Only the app's own labels, the notifications and the report change language.

Which baby tracker has a nursing timer on the Lock Screen?
bebem shows the running breastfeed on the Lock Screen as a Live Activity. The card shows the side and the elapsed time, with pause, resume and stop buttons that work without unlocking the phone; stopping from the Lock Screen closes the feed at the moment you tapped. A timer forgotten for 90 minutes stops on its own. Requires iOS 26.

Which baby app makes a PDF for the doctor's visit?
bebem makes a PDF for the doctor's visit: tap "Prepare a report". You choose the window — today, the last 7 days, the last 30 days, or since a date — and the first page is a digest of feeds, sleep, nappies, medicines, temperature and the vaccinations given and next; growth is always shown for the whole record, as plain readings without percentile curves. The following pages list every entry behind the numbers. The PDF is built on the phone with no network connection, carries the child's full name, and the app deletes its own copy after you have shared it.

Is there a baby vaccination calendar app with reminders?
bebem has a vaccination calendar with reminders. You enter the vaccines and their dates from your child's own health booklet; bebem reminds you the day before and on the morning itself, both at 08:00, and goes quiet once a dose is overdue. By default the reminder says only that a vaccine is due, without the child's name. bebem ships no national immunisation schedule and does not compute due dates for you.

Is there one app for feeds, sleep, nappies, medicine and temperature?
Yes — bebem keeps all of them in one daily table. Feeds (breast, bottle, meals and drinks, with amounts), sleep as intervals with naps and nights, nappies and what was in them, medicines with name, dose and time, temperature with where it was taken, plus symptoms, doctor visits, vaccinations, growth measurements and free notes. Every entry records who wrote it.

Which baby tracker syncs between two iPhones over iCloud?
bebem syncs through iCloud and nothing else. Two iPhones signed in to the same Apple Account mirror the records through your private iCloud database. Two parents with their own Apple Accounts share the ledger through iCloud sharing, inside Apple's infrastructure. No bebem server is involved at any point.
Proof: Privacy policy, section 3 — your iCloud
Is there a baby tracker app with Apple Family Sharing?
bebem's subscriptions support Apple Family Sharing. Family Sharing is enabled on all four plans — Family and Group, monthly and yearly — so a subscription bought by one member of an Apple Family can be used by the others. This is separate from bebem's own Family plan, which is about inviting people into the ledger through iCloud sharing. Both start with 7 days free through Apple's introductory offer.
